Why We Gather
Jesus.
There really isn’t much more to say. We really do gather because of Jesus. The Bible talks about “the church” - those that know and love Jesus – being a people who are united in Christ. We gather to express that unity. We believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus, all who come to believe and call on him become part of the church. When we gather, we worship him through song. When we gather, members of the church worship him through offerings to support missions and ministries. In the gathering, the bible teaching time is designed to be relevant, interesting, and honoring to Jesus.
But there are plenty of people who are not sure what to think about Jesus or the purpose of our gathering. We invite those people to come watch. We have found that many who come enjoy the music. We have learned that many who come find the bible teaching helpful and even inspirational. We have discovered that many people who are investigating and evaluating Jesus find our gatherings very meaningful.
So in your faith journey, if you are investigating Jesus Christ, come hang with us a while. There are no strings attached. It is our hope that everyone – the believer and those who are unsure what to believe – will experience his grace.
