Our Values

This small gathering of believers has big dreams. We dream big because our God is big. Our God has asked us to devote ourselves to Him, live a life that pleases Him, and advance His kingdom through love and service. Our “big dream” is not driven by numbers but through a passionate devotion to Him. However, we believe that in our devotion to Christ, many lives will be touched, and our fellowship of believers will continue to grow.

In meeting with the church board, we have identified four primary values we strive to uphold and pursue in the life of this church.

1. Christ-Centered. While we want to be progressive and relevant, we are not going to compromise the message or the standard of Christian living. We can be “seeker-sensitive” without compromising the music, message, or ministry of Jesus Christ. We are unashamedly centered on the person of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The Bible will not merely be referenced in passing but taught in a relevant way with clear application for daily living. Our church exists to worship Him and equip believers to follow Him and His teaching.

2. Family Focused. Simply put, the homes of America need help. Many marriages are hurting. Children need godly parenting. There are a multitude of issues that bring stress and discouragement to families today. Many families face special needs or crisis that deserve support from their spiritual family. Those who are divorced, separated, or single need a spiritual family as well. We desire to increase the spiritual and relational vitality of every home and provide activities and experiences that will reinforce healthy, god-honoring families.

3. Real Relationships. Jesus had meaningful and purposeful relationships. We should as well. We all need loving and caring friends who will champion us to live for Christ through prayer and encouragement. Additionally, we value meaningful and purposeful relationships with the lost. By our service and support to those who do not know Christ, we will strive to communicate God’s message of hope in a way that would be most receptive.

4. Sacrificial Service. Americans have a propensity to consumerism. This has spilled over into the church. We believe the church should be a grace-giving place of great joy and heartfelt celebration. However, the church is not designed to be an entertainment venue. The church is not designed to make members comfortable. It is our desire that the mindset of our church will be one of genuine service. Contributing to the life of the church and to the community is to fulfill one of the basic commands of our Lord. The scripture says we are to “serve the Lord with gladness.” Psalm 100:2
