G56 Preteen

5th and 6th grade

 G56 exists to provide opportunities for preteens to learn and grow together in community.  For kids in this age group, life is changing…and doing so rapidly.  Often too old for kids ministry and not yet ready for student ministry, G56 provides a unique place for “tweens”.  Our central Scripture passage comes from Luke 2, where a 12 year old Jesus is found by his parents in the temple, teaching, listening to and learning God’s Word.   His response to the question “What are you doing?”…. “I MUST be about my Father’s business.”   G56 is all about helping preteens “be about the business” of our Awesome God.

Preteens attend the first portion of our regular worship service and then participate in small group Bible study.  Additional social gatherings, mission projects and discipleship opportunities exist to help them grow into a mature relationship with Jesus Christ.
