Jeff Rees, Pastor

Dr. Jeffrey Rees, is pictured with his wife, Martha. In addition to serving as senior pastor for over 20 years in Texas and New Jersey, he has served in a variety of ministry positions; an adjunct professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Houston, TX; a consultant for church leadership issues in national and international congregations and conference forums; as a Chaplain for Marketplace Chaplains, USA; as spiritual director and teacher for Journey to Damascus retreats through the Galveston-Houston Diocese. Jeff and Martha have three grown children; Brandon, Nathan, and Raquel.

Scott Denton, Family Pastor

Scott Denton joined the Grace family in May of 2010 after serving as Family and Teaching Pastor at a church plant in Sugar Land, Texas. He has a beautiful wife, Amy, and four children. Scott has lived in the Houston area all of his life. He has a B.A. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University, a M.Ed. from Sam Houston State University and is currently working on his Master of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has no idea when he’ll be finished with that. After college, Scott began a career in the educational system, serving as a teacher and administrator for 11 years. He enjoys teaching God’s Word, hanging out with kids and has a passion to see families grow closer to God and each other. His responsibilities at Grace include all things “family”.

Nathan Rees, Worship Leader

Nathan Rees grew up in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in Music Business and Vocal Performance. For six years, Nathan worked with Second Baptist Church of Houston’s Production, Worship, and Youth. While at school, Nathan led worship and helped out with youth ministries throughout the Dallas area. For ten years now, Nathan has been developing as a worship leader. He has chosen to call Grace home and serve as Worship Leader. He oversees the entire Worship Ministry and Production Team.
